Career Compass

Building Future-Ready Skills

Career Compass is a youth development initiative designed to equip high school students with the core skills needed to succeed in the modern workforce. Through interactive sessions and mentorship from professionals across industries, the program helps students connect what they learn in school with real-world career opportunities.

At the heart of Career Compass is a focus on essential employability and transferable skills that are relevant across all industries and critical for the future of jobs. Career Compass bridges the gap between school and the workplace by exposing students to the expectations of employers and the evolving landscape of career opportunities. Each student is paired with a corporate volunteer who serves as a mentor and guide, helping them envision their potential and plan a path forward.

The program creates a supportive environment where students not only explore career paths but also develop the confidence, mindset, and agility to thrive—whether they pursue higher education, vocational training, or direct employment.

Program Goals:

Career Compass was created to close this gap and ensure all youth—regardless of background—have the tools and opportunities to succeed in tomorrow’s world of work.
